The primary airport for Specialty attendees traveling by air would be Salt Lake City International Airport (https://slcairport.com); airport code “SLC.” 12 airlines and their affiliates serve SLC: AeroMexico; Alaska Airlines; American; Delta Air Lines; Eurowings Discover; Frontier; JetBlue; KLM; SkyWest; Spirit; Southwest; and United. SLC is a major hub for Delta Air Lines with about 70% of total traffic. There are direct international flights to Salt Lake City from: Amsterdam; Calgary; Cancun; Frankfurt; Guadalajara; London; Los Cabos; Mexico City; Paris; Puerto Vallarta; Toronto; and Vancouver.
There is no courtesy hotel van that transports guests from SLC to the Campus. All major vehicle rental companies provide rental vehicle options at SLC. Alternatively, taxi and other transportation options would also be available from SLC. For example, a sample trip from SLC to the Campus using an Uber ranges from $98.90 to $137.26, depending on the size of the vehicle and time of day. The distance from SLC to the Campus is approximately 81 miles, or 1 hour 16 minutes.
Air travel with dogs:
For passengers traveling with checked dogs, the ticketing counter and excess bag claim at SLC will serve as the drop-off and pickup points.
For dogs traveling as cargo, passengers are required to visit the airline’s air cargo facility. The airport cargo facilities are on Terminal Drive. Contact information for each of the major airlines operating at SLC that can accommodate dogs are as follows:

Ogden Hinkley Regional Airport (https://www.ogdencity.com/1841/Airport; airport code “OGD”) may be an alternative to SLC. This airport primarily handles private plane traffic, with some commercial flights. 7 airlines and their affiliates serve OGD: Alaska Airlines; American; Delta Air Lines; JetBlue; Skywest; Spirit; and United. No international airlines fly to OGD.
There is no courtesy hotel van that transports guests from OGD to the Campus. Hertz provides vehicle rental options from OGD. Alternatively, taxi and other transportation options would also be available from OGD. For example, a sample trip from OGD to the Campus using an Uber ranges from $61.94 to $82.48, depending on the size of the vehicle and time of day. The distance from OGD to the Campus is located approximately 48 miles, or 51 minutes.
Note: For passengers traveling with checked dogs, there are fewer options when traveling through OGD. Cargo transport may be an option depending on the airline.
